How many years can transparent PC solar panels last?
The service life of transparent PC solar panels mainly depends on the raw materials and production process. The composition of the raw materials for transparent PC solar panels is very important, including new imported materials, semi new materials (medium grade), and recycled materials (low grade). Using different raw materials will definitely result in different lifespans. The production process of transparent PC solar panels depends on whether there is a UV protective layer, whether the co extrusion of UV is uniform, and whether the thickness of UV meets the standard. The lifespan of transparent PC solar panels produced with imported new materials is very long (more than ten years). If half of the new materials are used to produce transparent PC solar panels, they can only be used for about 7 to 10 years. If recycled materials are used, the panels can only be used for three to five years.
